A Point In Time

 It's all about education...

 A Point In Time can:

•  bring the field trip to you with hands-on experiential programs;
• design curricula;
• establish special on-site projects;
• lead field experiences;
• and create replica artifacts.

We can work with any age. Because we offer  experientially rich opportunities, our group size is usually limited to no more than 30 participants at a time.  Depending on the nature of the program, this can be adjusted.  Tell us what you need, and we'll tell you what we can do!

• Dyeing: try age-old techniques for adding color to your life!  Learn to use lichens, fungi, and other natural materials for non-toxic dyes on wool yarn.
• Rainforests: compare tropical with temperate rainforests and learn about these important ecosystems through activities, recordings, and photographs. 
• Camping: don't have much experience in the wilderness?  Join us on a minimum-impact backpacking trip and learn to be at home in the woods.
• Insects: learn about the diversity and abundance of these under-appreciated creatures with real examples and activities. Find out whether bugs are yummy!
• Living History: explore the Gold Rush Era with a costumed guide.  Theatre and history students will deconstruct the program to find out how to bring the past to life.
• Fur Trade:  experience  an interchange of different cultural values and languages, while using real Fur Trade Era items.
• Explore the concept of nature as a hardware and grocery store to past and present populations.
